The Ladies and Knights of the Equestrian (Knightly) Order of the HolySepulchre of Jerusalem are pleased to greet you in the name of ourCrucified and Risen Lord.

By visiting this site, we hope you will have some idea of the relevanceof being a Knight or Lady of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. TheEquestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre is one of the few Orders ofChivalry which entails a serious committment for its members.
Throughout the ages, various Popes have praised the Order and haveentrusted to the members of the Order the primary missions of personalsanctification and support of our Christian sisters and brothers in theHoly Land. Being a Knight or Lady of this Order is not an empty honor -it is a privilege conferred on those who profess the Catholic Faith inunion with the Pope and strive to live out the promises made at theirinvestiture in their daily lives.
The work of the Order in theHoly Land is expressed through prayer, knowledge and education aboutthe conditions in the Holy Land, sharing this awareness with others,and through financial contributions to the work of the Latin Patriarchand various other institutions. Many educational institutions owe theirvery existence and continued operation to the contributions made by thevarious Lieutenancies of the Order throughout the World. Whilestruggling to maintain a relatively strong Christian presence in theland made sacred by the Life, Death and Resurrection of Our Saviour,the percentage of Christians in these Sacred Land is diminishing for avariety of reasons.
All institutions supported by the Equestrian Order are available to all peoples living in the Holy Land.
